All of the strips are hand-drawn (during otherwise useless classes) on white paper, then inked, and then scanned on the computer to be re-colored and to add text. Starting with Strip 5, they take up only 1 page unless outside drawings are incorporated. Since Randolph, Eve and Aristotle go to a “Magical Boarding School,” they are seated on a “Magic Expand-a-Bench;”therefore, no one has to move when Randolph sits down AND it will never run out of room. This comic ventures into chibi-style setting a precedent for future comics. Chibi rendering is much quicker and leaves more artistic license for full-body shots.
