Hey guys! I know today’s father’s day, so I have a special update for my dad. Yesterday’s update was also for Father’s Day, but it was actually characters from the comic (if you couldn’t recognize them: Bersachus the Faerie King and Edwin Tinnel). Today’s special update is the contest entry my dad and I drew for Geek Dad Contest 3 (on Wired’s Geek Dad Blog) where a father/child team was required to draw their D&D characters. My dad actually didn’t have a character because he DMed for us, so he made a wizard, and though my character’s a druid, I didn’t have any good brown gel pens, so the one drawn is a fighter. I know I haven’t had commentary in a while, and I probably won’t go back and write any because Zane doesn’t seem to have any interest in it (though he had me write it). I could update more this summer if I didn’t spend so long coloring each comic on the computer (our scanner doesn’t scan color well, so it’s not worth it to do it by hand). Should I try to learn how to use my manga-inking pens so I can update more? Or do you like the colors?
